Privacy Policy
Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Earthworks Audio websites and online services operated by Earthworks, Inc., including earthworksaudio.com and the Earthworks B2B Dealer Portal located at https://b2b.earthworksaudio.com/.
Website Visitors
Like most website operators, Earthworksaudio.com collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Earthworksaudio.com’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Earthworksaudio.com’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Earthworksaudio.com may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
Earthworks Audio may collect and process IP addresses and related network information for security, authentication, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and aggregate analysis. Earthworks does not sell IP addresses or use them for targeted advertising.
Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to Earthworksaudio.com choose to interact with Earthworksaudio.com in ways that require Earthworksaudio.com to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Earthworksaudio.com gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we collect information when visitors contact Earthworks, register a product, request service, subscribe to communications, attend an event, or request access to the Earthworks B2B Dealer Portal.
In each case, Earthworksaudio.com collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Earthworksaudio.com. Earthworksaudio.com does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR where it applies.
Earthworks B2B Dealer Portal
The Earthworks B2B Dealer Portal provides authorized representatives of Earthworks customers with access to customer-specific business information and services. Portal access is not granted automatically based on an email domain. Each access request is manually reviewed by Earthworks and, if approved, is associated with one specific business email address, one customer account, and one verified user identity.
When an individual requests access to the B2B Dealer Portal, Earthworks may collect the individual’s first and last name, company-issued email address, company name, company website, telephone number, Earthworks customer or order reference, and other information supplied as part of the request. Earthworks uses this information to verify the requester’s identity and company affiliation, review and administer the access request, communicate with the requester, prevent unauthorized access, and maintain security and administrative records.
After access is approved, the portal may display business information associated with the approved customer account, including products, customer-specific pricing, product availability, orders, invoices, shipments, tracking information, and related customer records. Earthworks limits this information to the customer account associated with the individually approved user.
Google Sign-In and Google User Data
The Earthworks B2B Dealer Portal offers Google Sign-In as an authentication method. When a user chooses Google Sign-In, Google may provide Earthworks with the user’s Google account identifier, email address, email-verification status, display name, profile image, and other basic profile information included within the openid, email, and profile permissions.
Earthworks uses information received from Google only to:
- authenticate the user;
- confirm that the Google account and verified email address exactly match the account individually approved by Earthworks;
- associate the user with the correct Earthworks customer account;
- maintain the user’s authenticated portal session;
- administer, secure, suspend, or revoke portal access; and
- detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, abuse, or other security incidents.
Earthworks does not request or receive the user’s Google password. The B2B Dealer Portal does not request access to the user’s Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google services.
Storage and Retention of Google User Data
Earthworks may store the user’s email address, email domain, Google account identifier, email-verification status, basic profile information supplied by Google, portal-access status, authentication dates, and related security and audit records. This information is stored in systems operated by or on behalf of Earthworks and is used only for authentication, authorization, customer support, security, legal compliance, and administration of the B2B Dealer Portal.
Earthworks retains Google user data for as long as the user has portal access and thereafter for as long as reasonably necessary to protect the portal, maintain appropriate security and audit records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or de-identified in accordance with Earthworks’ applicable retention practices.
Sharing of Google User Data
Earthworks does not sell, rent, or use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, data-broker services, determining creditworthiness, or lending purposes. Google user data may be accessed by authorized Earthworks personnel and by service providers that process information on Earthworks’ behalf when necessary to operate, secure, maintain, or support the B2B Dealer Portal. Such service providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to Earthworks and are required to protect it appropriately.
Earthworks may also disclose information when required by law; when reasonably necessary to protect Earthworks, its customers, users, or the public; or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
Earthworks’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Managing or Deleting Google-Connected Portal Data
Users may revoke the B2B Dealer Portal’s connection to their Google account through the Google Account third-party connections page. Revoking the Google connection prevents future authentication through that connection but does not automatically delete records already maintained by Earthworks.
A user may request correction or deletion of personal information associated with a B2B Dealer Portal account, or request that portal access be closed, by emailing [email protected]. Earthworks may need to verify the requester’s identity before completing a request. Certain order, invoice, transaction, security, audit, legal, or accounting records may be retained when required or permitted by law. Closing or deleting authentication information will prevent the user from accessing the portal.
Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

We use the information you provide to respond to inquiries, administer accounts and B2B Dealer Portal access, process product registrations and service requests, provide requested communications and services, manage events, and support Earthworks’ customer relationships.
