When Precision Is Paramount
Optimized for speech, the IMLR microphones are the most reliable miking solution for conferencing today. The Earthworks IMLR Series rigid center gooseneck microphones with integrated LumiCommâ„¢ light ring & touch sensor are designed for permanent installation in ceilings and tabletops for conferencing and other speech applications.

Illuminating Installation
The dual-color LumiComm™ light ring and touch sensor output allows integrators to program the microphone’s function and LED color, such as assigning a red LED color for the microphone being muted.

Conferencing, Made Simple
A near-perfect polar pattern means wider coverage. Wider coverage means fewer mics and cables.

Construction
Designed with aesthetics in mind, the IMLR microphones feature a slim 0.375“ (9.5mm) gooseneck with rigid center that allows precise positioning of the microphone for optimal coverage. The gooseneck flexes on both ends – however, the center is rigid, providing a more polished appearance when re-positioning the microphone. The microphone flange measures just over 1.6 inches (40.5mm) wide and 0.35 inches (8.8mm) tall, mounting flush into the tabletop or ceiling for a low profile appearance.
Options
The IMLR microphones are available with a 10 or 12 inch rigid center gooseneck. Black or stainless steel finish. LED colors are red and green.

Each mic yields more coverage, so you need fewer of them. The first benefit of this is potentially a reduced scope for phase errors between mics. The second is that you require less cabling and DSP to connect and process inputs.
They just simply work, and do so better than any other ceiling mics we’ve encountered. The biggest difference is the pickup pattern and coverage area.
Great consistent coverage and a clean, natural, and transparent sound as I have come to expect from the Earthworks product. It makes good audio easy.
The audio quality was superior to other ceiling microphones we’d used for conferencing applications. Improved clarity, appropriate pickup patterns and fewer issues with distance from microphone to participant were some of the key improvements with the Earthworks microphones.
