Construction

Designed with aesthetics in mind, the IML microphones feature a slim 0.375“ (9.5mm) gooseneck that allows precise positioning of the microphone for optimal coverage. The microphone flange measures just over 1.6 inches (40.5mm) wide and 0.35 inches (8.8mm) tall, mounting flush into the tabletop or ceiling for a low profile appearance.

Options

The IML microphones are available with a 3, 6, 10 or 12 inch flexible gooseneck. Black, white and stainless finishes are available. LED colors are red and green.

Each mic yields more coverage, so you need fewer of them. The first benefit of this is potentially a reduced scope for phase errors between mics. The second is that you require less cabling and DSP to connect and process inputs.
They just simply work, and do so better than any other ceiling mics we’ve encountered. The biggest difference is the pickup pattern and coverage area.
